This week husband and wife band mates Josh and Katie Pascoe of  Fresh Breath joined me to discuss the connection between music and cannabis.  From their name to the writing process to some lyrics, cannabis has meaning for this duo. They've also seen first hand the power of cannabis as a healing plant. David Wylie of the oz dropped in for This Week in Cannabis News where we questioned headlines and discussed celebrities getting into the E commerce side of cannabis as well as what might happen with the plant if Biden/Harris win the United States election in November. Plus vending machines and shattering myths about cannabis and productivity. Chris Ianson is our Educator and the Manager of the Nova Cannabis Jasper Avenue location in Edmonton and we explored Tutti Frutti pre rolls from Kolab Project. They are dynamite and I really want to visit the retail store they have in Lloydminster. The lineage behind this sativa is wild and long while the high will creep up on you a little before the full effects hit you. On the Business of Cannabis with Malka Labell of the Green Generation Co we discussed why LPs are forced to Lab Shop their strains, how the science of hemp can help your skin and a salad analogy for cannabis that is spot on!!! Our Cannabis Question is about your newest accessory and to win a prize you must send me a picture!!! Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts or Soundcloud or here

Why is it your buddy can eat every edible and not seem high, but you can't stop acting like Cheech and Chong? It's all in your genes, and not your acid wash pair with custom ripped holes. David Krantz is an Epigenetic Performance Coach and has developed a DNA test that can tell you a lot about your relationship with cannabis and particularly with THC. Is it a relationship you should increase, change or even stop in some cases? Fine tuning your cannabis use, especially for those new to the plant could be life changing. David Wylie of the oz and it's brand new website brought the latest in This Week in Cannabis News where Canadian politicians are praising the advice from Seth Rogan to stay in and get high. We also discussed why kids and cannabis don't mix (you would think it's obvious, but some are learning the hard way) and the future of legalization in the U.S.A. with a pro cannabis Vice-President nominee. Plus one website has ranked the top ten provinces when it comes to cannabis in Canada. Chris Ianson is our educator as well as the Manager of Nova Cannabis Jasper Avenue in Edmonton and we explored Tropicana Cookies form Ignite. The cannabis is nice, and the story of the man behind Ignite is very polarizing. Malka Labell of the Green Generation Co has the latest Bud-Biz-Buzz on The Business of Cannabis where we discussed why celebrities are getting out of the Canadian cannabis scene and how Aquaponics could be the future of growing cannabis and at the same time solving food insecurity in areas drastically impacted by it. Our Cannabis Question is about your favourite accessory and our Cannabis Character is Jim Breuer from Half Baked, plus learn some new terms in Weed Word of the Day. One Hitters with David Krantz, Epigenetic Performance Coach

David Krantz first tried cannabis at a very cool rock concert and has consumed in some cool places. Where would he like to consume and what is his favourite terpene>? I loaded up the One Hitter to find out those questions, who he'd like to get high with and more.   Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts or Soundcloud or here

It's every growers worst nightmare. Disease and death of their plant worked so hard on. This week we discussed how to keep your plants healthy in just a few seconds. David Symanzig of CleanLight joined me from Holland while Corwin Koch of Can-Neth Imports chimed in from Canada on how CleanLight can help big and small operations. We also touched slightly on the cannabis scene in Amsterdam and around the world. David Wylie of the oz and I discussed some breaking news regarding a name change for a retail store and updated the vape pen concerns we discussed last week and why this isn't a bigger story? Chris Ianson of Nova Cannabis Jasper Ave is our Educator and we explored Samurai Spy (Ninja Fruit) from Edison, a delicious and very upbeat strain. Find out if it's right for you. Malka Labell of the Green Gen Co brought the latest Bud-Biz-Buzz on The Business of Cannabis where we discussed cannabis ecosystems and the difficulties in creating them as well as cannabis on indigenous land and one company that is trying to merge with legalization. Our Cannabis Question is if you have a cannabis ritual, listen in for the wicked prize pack and how to win it.  Enjoy! Subscribe! Review! Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcasts or Soundcloud or here

One Hitters with Gaige Steinke, Plantlife

Episode 58

This week I jumped on the Spiritleaf Bus Tour which could be heading to your favourite Spiritleaf location soon. I was on location at Spiritleaf Argyll in Edmonton and had a blast. 5 different LPs dropped by with free swag, they had free hot dogs and tons of people. It was great to meet and chat with everyone and I put together the conversations we had in this episode. This Week in Cannabis News with David Wylie of the oz and us discussing cannabis and the homeless population, ordering on line in BC, stocks some think you should avoid and our concerns about concerns with vapes. What's That Strain?!?! with Chris Ianson of Nova Cannabis Jasper Ave had us exploring Lemon Z from OGEN, a company that sounds really fun to work for. It is definitely a great energy providing strain with a lemon pepper taste. The Business of Cannabis saw Malka Labell of the Green Generation Co and I get fired up over some uninformed opinions from some medical professionals when it comes to cannabis and how that is keeping the stigma around cannabis alive. The Cannabis Question is about free swag, which you can win just by chiming in and our Cannabis Character is Erlich Bachman from Silicon Valley.
